When the HOT SHOT LO was reintroduced a couple of seasons ago, its look was modernized to an up-to-date style. The VARSITY version of the classic basketball performance silhouette features a base of mesh. Leather overlays at the side and underneath the eyestay are complemented by buttery soft suede overlays at the mudguard, the forefoot, and the quarter heel. The plastic molded speed lacing system and the double eyelets at the top are a beautiful take from the OG version which appeared in our catalogues for the first time around 1988. The tongue with KangaROOS’ secret pocket on the inner side, as well as the lining are made of mesh again. The outsole is built with abrasion-resistant rubber that ensures a good grip and a pleasant durability. This great retro basketball sneaker is rounded off by a little extra. Where you usually find a bold ROOS lettering on the side panel, this version of the Hot Shot shows a small window which displays a US American Flag instead of a company’s branding.
