EAT & DRINK
Nova - our neighbours! With the best handmade food and drinks. Must visit!
Frank - located on the other side of the railway station and the very, very best reason to cross the tracks! Modern cooking, vegetables in the spotlight, natural wines and a lovely atmosphere.
Koffiehuisje & Bakhuisje - The best coffee/breakfast/lunch place now has it's own bakery-sister in the same street: we are obsessed with their cardamom buns.
Kazerne - authentic modern Italian menu in the middle of design and technology exhibitions.
Restaurant Iris - a hidden gem, a cozy 'livingroom' restaurant that serves a high quality menu in which vegetables get the attention they deserve.
Ketelhuis - Strijp S's playground, a place where food, drink, art and culture meet. The chefs work with whole animals, vegetables from local farmers, and everything is prepared according to traditional methods.
Fifth - a restaurant and a bar with a wonderful terrace just outside of the city centre. And there is live jazz..
Van Abbecafé - Café restaurant at the Van Abbemuseum, with local and sustainable partnerships.
HOPE's - Pizza pop-up run by our friend Jess whose passion for pizza runs so deep she went to NY to learn from the best. You'd have to be lucky to be in town to catch one, but that will only add to the amazingness! Follow her here to see when she'll pop-up
Zarzo - Refined, creative and complex culinary delight. Amazing wine pairing.
OST - Wine bar & kitchen just across the street. Small, medium and large plates to share (if you want to). Lots of vegetarian options as well.
La Folie - Eindhoven's most real bar. Drop in for a cup of coffee or a beer.
Residency for the People - an artist-in-residence programme that welcomes everybody and hosts a very nice bar and restaurant. Sit down for a cocktail and order some of their delicious dumplings and korean pancakes.

Frankie's Favorites - Franka is gonna make you look fabulous in high-end, second hand fashion! She's created a wonderful concept that lets you sell some of your own pieces at Frankie's and receive 50% of the selling price to spend at your favorite store in the Netherlands (for example, Magda boutique 😉).
STAY
Hotel Piet Hein Eek - Piet Hein Eek, Eindhoven's most famous designer, has expanded his universe with a hotel. There's a wonderful restaurant and (rooftop)bar too..
Boutique Hotel Mariënhage - a little oasis located in the monumental building of the Order of St. Augustine, where the former Mariënhage monastery once stood.
Eindhoven City Lodge - A unique, small and hospitable B&B and an oasis of peace in the middle of the city.
ART & CULTURE
The Pool - a space for experiments & collaborations, art & design, food, music and humans. Also known as the cultural clubhouse of Sectie C
MU Hybrid Art House - stuff is happening in Strijp-S and artspace MU is one of it's first inhabitants. Diverse exhibitions on anything NOW.
Van Abbemuseum - one of the leading museums for contemporary art in Europe that raises questions in the field of art and society in an experimental way.
OUTDOOR
Vaderland - Just a nice bicycle ride away from Eindhoven, down the river the Dommel and in between nature and farmlands, there is Vaderland. A nature-inclusive experience and circular farm let by Joep and Lianne who do it all; farm shop / market garden / cut-flower garden / take-away meals / veg boxes / catering / wine / workshops.
Genneperparken & Genneper Hoeve - we at Magda love to go out for a good walk. The Genneper parks are right outside the city center and a wholesome place to be. There's a farm in the middle of it where you buy local produce or enjoy a drink.
